Police start investigation after theft at West Michigan Motorsports shop

Michigan State Police (MSP) started an investigation into a breaking and entering at a Motorsports business in St. Joseph County.

They said multiple electronics were stolen as well as checks from the business.

MSP said the theft happened at Fantom Motorsports on Dickenson Road on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019.

Several remote-controlled cars, remote controllers and other miscellaneous RC parts were taken, according to a news release.

MSP said a digital camera and numerous checks from the business were also stolen. The checks had been deposited, but they still showed personal banking information.
