Kimberly Guilfoyle has left Fox News, the network confirmed Friday.

In a tersely worded statement, the network said simply "Fox News has parted ways with Kimberly Guilfoyle."

Guilfoyle, 49, is currently dating Donald Trump's oldest son, Donald Trump Jr. The two recently went public with their relationship, sharing photos from a fishing vacation. She later joined Trump Jr. and the White House for the president's Fourth of July celebration.

She has since shared photos of the two as they visited Europe.

Citing unnamed sources, Huffington Post reported Guilfoyle did not leave the network voluntarily. Other reports indicated Guilfoyle may be going to America First Policies, a nonprofit group associated with he pro-Trump super PAC America First Action.

Andrew Surabian, a spokesperson for Donald Trump Jr. said in a tweet Guilfoyle will be campaigning for GOP candidates in the midterm election.

Guilfoyle, an attorney who was once married to San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, joined Fox News in 2006. Most recently, she worked as the co-host of the Fox program "The Give" and was a host and legal analyst for other Fox News shows.
In 2016, it was reported Guilfoyle was being considered to serve as White House press secretary, a job that eventually went to Sean Spicer.
