Unique, simple, and edgy, Tabrizipour’s personal style reflects that of her eponymous eyeglasses brand. Standing out from other optical labels, Gazal Eyewear, sold at Atlanta Vision Optical, features high-end, durable elements like titanium framework, plus collections designed around Atlanta celebs and personalities.

Current Neighborhood
Inman Park

Hails From
Iran (I’m Persian). But I was raised most of my life in Germany and Miami.

Hangout
Bartaco in Inman Park

Drink
French 75. It’s a great combo of Champagne and gin. The older I get, the more I like gin.

Shopping For
AllSaints at Bloomingdale’s at Lenox Square. It’s dark, chic, rock ’n’ roll clothing.

Won’t Leave Home Without
Eyeliner. I actually designed the Gazal Eyewear logo after the way I wear my eyeliner in a cat-eye.

My Shades
The Wicked collection—thick, bold rims with fierce gold details. It is super chic, extremely durable, and it took me five years to perfect the sleek ergonomic temple tip.

Latest Local Collab
Atlanta celebrity stylist Christopher Macken. The newest design was custom built for him based on his likes, eye measurements, and bone structure. The “Macken” sunglasses will be released this spring with just 100 pairs.

My Job
One pair of eyeglasses takes approximately a year and half to create. From the sketch form to prototype is an average of nine to 11 months. It usually takes two to three prototypes to get all the details I want.
