Wales have Taulupe Faletau and Dan Biggar fit and available for Saturday's Six Nations game away to Ireland.

Full-back Leigh Halfpenny is fit again too having missed the loss to England.

Number eight Faletau has not played since early December because of a knee injury, while Biggar missed the first two rounds with a shoulder injury.

With fellow Lion Ross Moriarty having recovered from a shoulder problem, coach Robin McBryde revealed "everyone has been given the green light".

Wales-bound former Scarlet George North, who came off the bench in the 12-6 defeat by England at Twickenham having recovered from a knee injury, scored a try as Northampton beat London Irish on Saturday.

And fellow winger Liam Williams was also on the scoreboard for his English club as he proved his fitness after groin and abdominal injuries with a fine solo try for Saracens as they won at Sale on Friday.

Wales are scheduled to name their team on Tuesday, 20 February.

McBryde added: "Obviously a few boys are happy they have scored at the weekend and have had some good wins.

"They are back with a spring in their steps and looking forward to Saturday.

"There will be a few tough calls on some individuals and we look forward to having that discussion later."

Moriarty, who overcome back problems suffered on the 2017 Lions tour to start Wales' Six Nations win against Scotland and the defeat by England, missed Gloucester's game at the weekend because of a shoulder problem sustained at Twickenham.

Biggar has not played since injuring his shoulder as Ospreys lost to Clermont Auvergne in the European Champions Cup on 20 January, while Faletau's last match was Bath's defeat at Toulon on 9 December.

Halfpenny pulled out of Wales' defeat at Twickenham because of a foot infection and was replaced by the versatile Gareth Anscombe of Cardiff Blues.
