GYMNASTICS: Bemidji Aerials compete at Fargo invite

FARGO, N.D. -- The Bemidji Aerials Junior Olympic levels 3-6 took part in the Flippin' in the Fall invitational hosted by American Gold Gymnastics in Fargo, N.D. over the weekend.

FARGO, N.D. -- The Bemidji Aerials Junior Olympic levels 3-6 took part in the Flippin’ in the Fall invitational hosted by American Gold Gymnastics in Fargo, N.D. over the weekend.

Level 3 competitors included Kendra Johnson, who led her team with a 34.4 all-around score. Johnson qualified for the state meet, along with Aerie Hill and Kylie Sonneman (33.5), Sienna Nevins (32.9) and Aubrie Grace (32.45). Brooklyn Roff finished her meet with a 30.35.

Lauren Bruley led the level 4 team with a 34.45, followed by Kaitlyn Workman (33.0), Cameron Roff (32.2), Jacobi Burmeister-Pater (31.25), Isabella Reierson and Kasey Stenseth (30.9), Kaiahna Martell (30.5), Samantha Buxton (30.3) and Stella Schoonover (29.7). Roff earned her first state qualifying score with her performance.

Level 5 leader was Kennedy Olson with a 32.475, who was followed by Addison Hill (31.8), Taylor Hanks (31.475), Aurora Frank (31.3) and Ava Phrakonkham (31.1).

Kali Allen was the sole level 6 competitor for the Aerials. She finished her meet with a 34.65, qualifying her to the Level 6/7 state competition in March.

The Aerials will next head to Detroit Lakes for a meet on Nov. 17.
