Discovery Shoppe volunteer Ann Brendle, right, presented Jenise Coons a check for $6,000 for the Chico High Choral Music earlier this month. The funds will be used to buy sheet music to update their choral music library. The CHS students learn and perform top quality, often college-level music. Special storage boxes will also be purchased to keep the music sheets neat and safely stored. The CH Choral Music was sponsored by shoppe volunteer Shelley Tedford. The Discovery Shoppe at 315 Flume St. is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds are donated back into the community. The shoppe donated to 12 charities in November 2019. (Contributed photo)
