KIRKTONHILL Tennis Club’s season officially got underway on Sunday with its family open day.
The event is an open invitation to club members and to any non members who might be interested in trying out tennis or learning more about the club.
Meanwhile, the early spring coaching sessions have attracted 30 children to the three groups which meet on Saturday mornings.
The club is also delighted to announce it has been successful in securing a youth development grant from West Dunbartonshire Sports Council.

This has been used to buy mini tennis balls and other equipment for the start of the season.
Pictured, above, is club coach Douglas Mackechnie with some of the junior rising stars and the new equipment.
