NPF minority forms Dimapur II AC unit

Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): Minority wing of the Naga People’s People (NPF), in its meeting held on January 19 at Dimapur division office, has unanimously decided to form a unit under 2 Dimapur- II AC.
Arun Kr Mishra, general secretary of NPF minority wing (central), stated that selected list of active members from 2 Dimapur II AC has been forwarded to central office for necessary formalities and approval to form the NPF minority wing under 2 Dimapur II AC.
It stated that many NPF party workers along with new members from 13 wards under Dimapur II AC attended the meeting adding 15 active members with special assignment were selected to work as party representative in grass root level. It added that M Sanjit Singh and KK Keshri were selected as convenor and co-convenor to lead the wing till the final approval of office bearers from central office.
NPF minority wing office bearers from central and division were present in the meeting during selection of office bearer for Dimapur II AC.

Bishnu Bhattacharjee, president of NPF minority wing (central), general secretaries Prem Singh Meetei and Shiv Kumar BK, and vice president Arun Thapa were the speakers.
Bhattacharjee spoke on the objective and importance of oldest regional party and its wings in Nagaland. He urged party men and women to work sincerely with patience to enjoy the fruits of hard work within short time. He lauded the initiative of party workers in formation of committee in the grass root level to strengthen the party in Dimapur.

He advised the committee to work under the guidance and supervision of its central and division office as per party guidelines. He also urged the AC level committees to work under the leadership of its elected MLAs Moatoshi Longkumer and Azheto Zhimomi.
The house also resolved to firmly uphold and support the leadership of its party president, Dr. Shurhozelie Leizietsu, secretary general and Rajya Sabha MP KG Kenye, and leader of opposition TR Zeliang.
