DOVER – The Dover Emblem Club No. 4 is collecting new small stuffed animals for the Pease Greeters to give to the servicemen and women who come into the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease Tradeport as they arrive home or as they are sent out on their deployments.

The club will be accepting donations of the new small stuffed animals through Dec. 15 at the Dover Elks Lodge at 282 Durham Road in Dover. The times donations will be accepted are Sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please ring the buzzer for entrance at the lodge.

Many of the servicemen take the stuffed animals home to their children if they are returning or take them on their missions as a reminder of home.

The Dover Emblem Club No. 4 is a non-profit club which helps with charitable endeavors.
