Activists demand Atlanta's warming centers open more frequently

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - With temperatures dipping down so low, a group of activists in Atlanta are pushing for the city's warming centers to be opened more frequently.

They held a news conference outside City Hall Friday afternoon.

The group says they represent about 10 different groups but are coming together to advocate for those who are left on the street when temperatures near freezing.
