Dangerous road conditions were reported across metro Atlanta Wednesday morning after strong storms rolled through the area.

A humungous tree came crashing down near the main parking deck for Emory University Hospital. Two vehicles were struck by the tree, including a white car that appeared to have been driving into the deck when it came crashing down. Debris also fell on five unoccupied cars parked on the ramp nearby.

Officials said one person sustained minor injuries.

Now, a tree removal company is working to remove the tree.

Overnight, barricades blocked traffic on Roswell's Willeo Road which runs along the Chattahoochee River. Flooded roads forced a closure from Azalea Drive to the Cobb County line.

In a different part of Roswell, Houze Road was shut down due to a downed power line.

Lilburn's Hillcrest Road also had to be blocked off when water from Jackson Creek nearly went over the bridge.

As the weather first moved into the area on Tuesday, lightning hit some power equipment, igniting a huge fire at a northeast Atlanta home on Hardee Street.

FOX 5 Storm Team's Joanne Feldman says rain is likely every day for the rest of the week, but the colder air should only last one more day. A warm front lifting our way will bust through the cold air and result in temperates warming up.
