HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A tree fell onto at least two vehicles in Honolulu as winds slowly began to pickup Saturday.

Police responded to the call around 10:15 a.m. at Bethel and Hotel Street.

Photos sent to Hawaii News Now shows the large tree completely uprooted and completely covering a small vehicle. Another vehicle parked on curbside was also partially covered.

An officer on scene said no injuries were reported.

Crews will be working to clear the roadway.

This comes amid a weekend where strong gusts are anticipated for parts of the state. Winds upward of 40 to 50 miles per hour are expected.
