Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn

This 2014 musical, based on a 1942 film of the same name, follows an entertainer named Jim who wants to leave the business and move to a farm in Connecticut. He transforms his farmhouse into an inn with festive celebrations each holiday. Expect classics like “White Christmas” to get you in the spirit.

Hawaiian Airlines Presents Kuana’s Winter Wonderland

Kuana Torres Kahele rings in the holidays at Hawai‘i Theatre with music, hula, shopping, a photo booth, prizes, and special Ni‘ihau and Tahitian pearl lei giveaways, as well as featured performers each night: Mark Keali‘i Ho‘omalu and the Academy of Hawaiian Arts (Friday); Kehau Tamure Band (Saturday); and Ei Nei and Marlene Sai (Sunday). The Nutcracker 2018

Ballet Hawai‘i’s annual production of The Nutcracker puts a Hawaiian spin on the classic tale, featuring ‘i‘iwi, honu, local flowers and even Queen Lili‘uokalani. Guest performers from the New York City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Carolina Ballet accompany local ballet students, with the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra performing the score. Plus, check out stunning costumes designed by Christine Darch, Kini Zamora and Anne Namba.

The Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu Presents Fill My Stocking

Like your holidays a little risqué? The Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu’s winter concert is guaranteed to make you smile—and probably blush. The merry band of performers is known to put on quite a spectacle, with hoots and hollers from the audience making for a truly jolly celebration.
