LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas State freshman Jireh Washington had 14 points but the ladies dropped their 6th straight game. Little Rock shot 54% from the field in a 68-55 victory Saturday afternoon.
The Trojans won their 6th straight in the women’s basketball rivalry. Akasha Westbrook was the other A-State player in double figures (10 pts).
The Red Wolves fall to 3-6 in Sun Belt play (8-12 overall) after starting conference 3-0. They’ll return to First National Bank Arena Thursday night vs. South Alabama (7:00pm tipoff)
