Cockfield scores 39; Arkansas State men lose to Texas State

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Arkansas State men’s basketball team welcomed in first place Texas State on Thursday night. Despite holding a double digit lead in the first half, the Bobcats pulled out the victory 84-74. Ty Cockfield scored a game high 39 points in the loss for the Red Wolves. Arkansas State falls to 10-15 overall and 4-8 in the Sun Belt.
