Dunkirk to establish fund to benefit Smith family Posted on September 23, 2019 0 DUNKIRK — An emergency meeting of the Dunkirk council has been scheduled for Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the village offices. The purpose of the meeting, according to clerk Phyllis Spencer, is to establish a tax-free fund for the assistance of the Jerry Smith family, whose home was destroyed Friday in a truck accident.
