Death investigation underway in Weakley County, Tennessee

WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN (KFVS) - A death investigation is underway in Weakley County, Tennessee.
According to Greenfield police, they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman found inside her home in the 100 block of Forest Street.
Officers were called to the home around 3:41 p.m. on Friday, April 19.
Police say the preliminary evidence showed the woman died from a gunshot wound. An autopsy has been scheduled.
The name of the woman is not being released at this time, pending notification of family.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is also investigating.
Police say they are not looking for any suspects at this time.
