JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Jackson, Missouri police said they were called out to investigate suspicious activity on April 21.

During that investigation, police said they made contact with 30-year-old Cape Girardeau resident Tavis S. Curry.

Police said curry was in possession of a loaded firearm as well as what is believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine.

Curry was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance- Cocaine, Class D Felony, possession of a controlled substance- Methamphetamine, Class D Felony, and unlawful use of a weapon, Class E Felony.

Curry was issued a warrant for the three charges.

His bond is set at $30,000.
