Motorists needing to take 71 Highway northbound near 87th Street Tuesday night are advised to use an alternate route.The northbound lanes of 71 have been closed after several accidents in the area throughout the day Tuesday.The most recent incident was reported around 8:15 p.m. No serious injuries were listed, however, police noted the road conditions were bad in that area.The Missouri Department of Transportation listed the roadway as closed as of 8:20 p.m.No estimated time was given to clear that closure.
