The victim was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, but died a short time later.

The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department was called to investigate a homicide Wednesday evening.Police Chief Terry Zeigler said that incident happened near 26th and Quindaro.One person was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. They were pronounced dead a short time later. The victim in this case has been identified as 36-year-old KCK resident Michael Haskell.No word yet on any suspect information.
