RICHMOND — Authorities on Monday identified a man killed in gunfire after a house party last week as a 19-year-old from Hayward.

Officers found the man, identified as Flavio Iniguez-Garcia, with a gunshot wound and down in the 100 block of 5th Street, near Bissell Avenue, around 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 13, police said. He died at the scene.

A Shot Spotter alerted police.

Investigators believe that Iniguez-Garcia attended a large house party on the same block before he was fatally shot.

Police have not identified any suspects or announced any arrests.

There have been 16 homicides in the city of Richmond this year.
