Virginia in top 5 best states to find love after 50
(WWBT) - If you’re over the age of 50, living in the state of Virginia and looking for love, you might be in the right place to find it.
According to a new study done by The Senior List, Virginia is the fifth best state to find love after age 50.
The Senior List used data from the U.S. Census Bureau on marital status and income to find the best place for singles ready to mingle.
According to the study, older singles have a 64.5% chance of finding that special someone in Virginia.
The Senior List says 12% of people 50 and older in the state are single, and there has only been a 2% change in singlehood status since 2012.
Financial problems can also put strain on relationships, so of the age group in Virginia, 63% have an income of $50,000 or more.
