Jefferson City man arrested on drug-related charges

A Jefferson City man was arrested Sunday in Callaway County on drug-related charges.

Patrick Lutz, 30, was booked and processed for felony possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Callaway County Sheriff's Office news release.

He is being held on a court-set bond of $5,000.

Callaway County sheriff's deputies including the department's K-9 team investigated a report of suspicious activity/trespassing at 2:51 a.m. Sunday on Autumn Ridge Drive near Holts Summit, according to the news release. Deputies recovered methamphetamine at the incident location, and Lutz was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail.

Callaway County deputies were assisted by Holts Summit Police Department officers in this investigation.
