Renegades to host Jefferson City Legends on Saturday afternoon

After having two days off, the Jefferson City Renegades return to Vivion Field tonight to face the Sedalia Bombers. Game time is 7 p.m.

The Renegades, who lead the South Division with a 7-7 record, have been part of shutouts in their last two games.

Jefferson City fell 2-0 to the St. Joseph Mustangs on Sunday at home before defeating the Chillicothe Mudcats 5-0 on Tuesday on the road.

The Renegades will play a pair of games this weekend by hosting the Jefferson City Legends at noon Saturday and playing at Nevada at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The Legends are made up of 14 area players that played at Blair Oaks, Jefferson City, Fatima, South Callaway, Lincoln and with the Renegades.

The former Renegades include Kolton Clark, who also played under coach Mike DeMilia at Lincoln, Jake Litteken and Jady Reese.

The former Blair Oaks Falcons include Jordan Hair, Nolan Hair, Hayden Haney, Travis Henke, Ryan Paschal, Jason Rackers and Thomas Verslues.

Also playing for the Legends are former Jefferson City Jay Jordan Coons, former Fatima Comet Patrick Schnieders, former South Callaway Bulldog Hunter Leeper and former Lincoln Blue Tiger Nick Lovell.
