Book launch party Nov. 29 for 'Rhode Island Memories'

The Providence Journal and Barrington Books will host a book launch party on Nov. 29 to mark the release of "Rhode Island Memories: The Early Years," a historical picture book featuring photographs of Rhode Island from the 1800s through 1939.

Providence Journal Executive Editor Alan Rosenberg and Michael Delaney, managing editor for visuals, will discuss select photos and sign copies from 6 to 8 p.m. at Barrington Books' Cranston store at 176 Hillside Rd.
