After a pursuit that spanned two cities, Boaz police were able to apprehend three local men on Monday night and charge each with multiple violations.

Boaz Police Chief Josh Gaskin said when an officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Cody Adam Gulledge, 31, of Boaz, the officer saw the car was reported stolen from DeKalb County. When officers flashed their lights, Gulledge refused to stop the vehicle, Gaskin said. The vehicle was followed into Albertville and then back into Boaz before it finally came to a stop on New Home Road where Gulledge and two others were arrested, he said.

Gulledge was charged with receiving stolen property, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Mitchell Alen Grey, 25, of Albertville, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of counterfeit money.

Kevin Dewayne Allison Jr., 27, of Albertville, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
