WEDNESDAY'S GAME BASICS
Oklahoma (5-17, 1-10 Big 12) takes on Kansas (12-10, 2-9 Big 12) on Wednesday night to wrap up the season series with the Jayhawks. Kansas won the first meeting, 88-79, in Lawrence on Jan. 30. The Sooners are looking to avoid being swept by Kansas for the first time since 1999. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. CT.
ON THE AIR
Wednesday's game will be televised on Fox Sports Oklahoma with Chad McKee (play-by-play), Brenda VanLengen (analyst) and Jessica Coody (sideline) on the call. The contest will air on the Sooner Radio Network (KOKC 1520 AM in Oklahoma City; KREF 99.3 FM/1400 AM in Norman; TuneIn Radio App) with Brian Brinkley calling the action.

Tickets are available for $8 at the OU Athletics Ticket Office (800-456-4668) and online here. Lloyd Noble Center's north and east ticket windows will open at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. OU students will be admitted free with a valid school I.D.

• The Sooners will host Hispanic Heritage Night during Wednesday's game. The first 400 fans that enter Lloyd Noble Center through the east entrance will receive a "Vamos Sooners!" t-shirt.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
• Oklahoma is 39-31 all-time against Kansas and has won 10 out of the last 12 meetings with the Jayhawks. OU head coach Sherri Coale is 25-7 all-time against the Jayhawks during her career. OU has won 22 out of the last 26 meetings with Kansas dating back to 2000. The Sooners have won five out of the last six meetings in Norman.
• Sophomore guard Ana Llanusa has led the Sooners in scoring in three consecutive games. The sophomore picked up her second 30-point scoring performance of the season on Sunday, finishing with 33 points against K-State. Llanusa was 10-for-20 from the field, hit five triples and knocked down 8-of-9 attempts at the free throw line. The sophomore is averaging 22.0 points over the last three games.
• Freshman guard Jessi Murcer has provided a spark for the Sooners offensively over the last two contests, averaging 12.5 points per game. Murcer scored 15 points last Wednesday at Oklahoma State, while dishing a career-high five assists and picking up a career-best five steals. The freshman finished in double figures with 10 points against Kansas State on Sunday on 4-of-7 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers.
• Taylor Robertson continues to lead the Big 12 in free throw percentage (.906) and 3-pointers per game (3.32). Her 3.32 3-pointers per game lead all major conference players this season, while her 73 3-pointers rank second. The freshman is second on the Sooners' freshman record list for 3-pointers made in a single-season. The freshman's .445 3-point shooting percentage is fourth currently on OU's single-season list.
• Oklahoma's top seven scorers are in their first or second year of Division I basketball with four of the seven being freshmen. In all 22 games this season, a freshman or sophomore has led the Sooners in scoring. Ninety-six percent of Oklahoma's scoring comes from its freshmen and sophomore classes. Robertson and freshman forward Madi Williams, rank second and third, respectively in scoring among Big 12 freshmen this season.
PREVIEWING KANSAS
• Kansas enters Wednesday's matchup with a 12-10 overall record and a 2-9 mark in Big 12 play after falling to Texas, 91-73, on Saturday in Lawrence. The Jayhawks are averaging 66.5 points per game (ranks ninth in the Big 12) on .396 field goal (ninth), .326 3-point (seventh) and .677 free throw (sixth) shooting. In conference play, Kansas is averaging 63.5 points (ranks eighth in the league) on .387 field goal (365), .270 3-point (10th) and .713 free throw shooting (fifth). The Wildcats rank 10th in the Big 12 in field goal percentage defense in league play, allowing foes to shooting .486 from the field.
• Kansas senior guard Kylee Kopatich leads Kansas with 11.7 points per game and ranks eighth in the conference with a .380 3-point shooting percentage. Senior guard Christalah Lyons is second on the team in scoring at 11.6 points per contest. Lyons scored 23 points against the Sooners in the first meeting between the two teams. Senior forward Austin Richardson is averaging 10.3 points per game this season.
• Brandon Schneider is in his fourth season at Kansas State with a 39-75 overall record.
Jessi Murcer is averaging 12.5 points per game over the last two contests.
GAME 22 RECAP: KANSAS STATE
• Sophomore guard Ana Llanusa scored 33 points, but Kansas State knocked down 14 3-pointers as the Wildcats defeated the Sooners, 83-75, on Sunday K-State's 14 3-pointers set a Lloyd Noble Center record for an opponent. Rachel Ranke hit eight 3-pointers for the Wildcats to lead four K-State players in double figures. Ranke's eight treys tied the most ever made against the Sooners in a home game.
• Llanusa finished with a game-high 33 points for the Sooners, two shy of matching her career high. The sophomore was 10-for-20 from the field and hit five 3-pointers, while knocking down 8-for-9 at the line. Llanusa's 33 points are tied for the 17th most by a Sooner in a single game in program history. The sophomore's 33 points are tied for the eighth-most ever scored by a Sooner in a Big 12 contest. The Choctaw, Okla., native matched her career high with five steals.
• Freshmen Jessi Murcer and Madi Williams added in 10 points apiece. Murcer was 2-of-3 from deep and finished 4-of-7 from the field to go along with two assists. Williams scored in double figures for the 14th time this season and added five rebounds. Ijeoma Odimgbe logged a team-high eight rebounds, while Gileysa Penzo led the Sooners with five assists off the bench. Tatum Veitenheimer added nine points and four assists off the bench in 27 minutes of action.
• The Sooners and Wildcats both finished with a .455 field goal percentage, but K-State finished 14-of-28 (.500) from beyond the arc. OU won the rebounding battle, 38-31, recorded 17 assists and finished with a .810 (17-for-21) at the foul line. Kayla Goth earned a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists.
SERIES HISTORY VS. K-STATE
• OU leads the all-time series, 39-28, against K-State with the Sooners winning 18 out of the last 23 meetings. The Wildcats won the first matchup of the season against the Sooners on Jan. 5, 86-56, in Manhattan.
• Oklahoma has played Kansas State 67 times in series history, the third most meetings against a single opponent for the Sooners.
• The Sooners are 25-8 versus Kansas State in the Big 12 era and are 13-2 against the Wildcats in Norman. OU's last loss to K-State at home came on Feb. 1, 2003.
THE DUAL THREAT
• Freshman guard/forward Madi Williams has made an immediate impact for the Sooners offensively and on the glass. She has recorded at least 10 rebounds in seven games and is averaging a team-best 8.3 rebounds per game (ranks fifth in the Big 12) to go along with 12.2 points per contest. The Fort Worth, Texas, product ranks 10th nationally among Division I freshmen in rebounds per game.
• Williams is averaging 11.8 points and 6.2 rebounds a game over the last five contests. The freshman scored 16 points last Saturday against Texas, then followed up with 14 points at Oklahoma State on Wednesday.
• Williams has five double-doubles this season, which ranks third in the Big 12. Only Courtney Paris (31, 2005-06) and Caton Hill (6, 1999-00) have recorded more double-doubles as freshmen in the Sherri Coale era.
QUICK HITS
• Taylor Robertson ranks third nationally among Division I freshmen with a .906 free throw percentage, which would rank as the second-best clip in school history by an OU freshman.
• OU ranks fifth in the Big 12 during league play with a .706 free throw percentage. The Sooners posted a .577 clip from the free throw line in non-conference play and have dramatically improved their percentage in Big 12 play. Robertson leads all Big 12 players with a .926 clip in conference play.
• The Sooners are fourth in the Big 12 with 8.4 steals per game during the regular season. Freshman guard Tatum Veitenheimer is 13th in the league with 1.5 steals per game.
• Oklahoma's 30 made free throws at Iowa State on Jan. 19 rank as the most made by a Big 12 team this season. It was the most free throws made by the Sooners in a single game since the 2013-14 season (35, vs. Louisville).
• Ana Llanusa's 15 made free throws at Iowa State are the most scored by a Big 12 player this season and are tied for ninth-most nationally in a single game.
• Nydia Lampkin's six points against Texas on Feb. 2 set a career high for the freshman. Lampkin hit a pair of free throws and finished 2-of-3 from the field against the Longhorns.
• Oklahoma's strength of schedule currently ranks 12th nationally among Division I teams. Its the second straight season that OU is projected to finish in the top-15 nationally in strength of schedule.
• Oklahoma's run of 19 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances ranks as the longest active streak by a team in the Big 12 and the fifth-best active streak among Division I women's basketball teams. OU's 19 straight NCAA bids is the ninth longest streak all-time in Division I. Only Tennessee (37), Stanford (31), Connecticut (30) and Notre Dame (23) have made more consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament than the Sooners.
• The Sooners tied for third place in the Big 12 with an 11-7 mark in league play during the 2017-18 season and finished the regular season ranked second in the nation in strength of schedule a year ago. OU has won at least 10 Big 12 games in 12 of the last 13 seasons.
