Just when you thought you'd seen everything in the crazy game of football we know, both sets of players in a Brazilian top flight match teamed up to give an ambulance a push-start on the pitch.

Bruno Silva was inadvertently knocked out by his own teammate in the game between Flamengo and Vasco da Gama and an ambulance made its way onto the pitch to transfer him to a local hospital.

There was a 10 minute stoppage following paramedics attending to Silva, and the the vehicle subsequently breaking down on the pitch.

However, several players from each side came together to give it a good old-fashioned push so that it eventually started again. It might just be our new favourite moment in football.

Just brilliant to see. With help from the players, Silva regained consciousness in hospital but stayed in the facility as a precaution.
