Series of property-damage accidents snarls traffic on Columbus’ west side

A series of property-damage accidents on Columbus’ west side early this morning led to lengthy traffic delays for motorists trying to head east into the city.

Columbus police said three accidents were reported between 7:25 a.m. and 8 a.m. Tuesday morning including:

  • 7:27 a.m.: Two-vehicle crash at Jonathan Moore Pike and Morgan Willow Drive
  • 7:46 a.m.: Two-vehicle crash at Jonathan Moore Pike and I-65
  • 7:57 a.m.: Three-vehicle vehicle crash at Jonathan Moore Pike and Two Mile House Road

Police said no injuries were reported in any of the three, but traffic was slow or stopped for about a half hour after each incident, causing delays for those heading into Columbus.
