The all-time leading scorer in Effingham High School boys basketball history has decided where he will play college hoops.

Landon Wolfe announced Tuesday that he will attend Minnesota State University. The Mavericks are based in Mankato, Minnesota. In his Tweet announcing his decision, Wolfe thanked God for blessing him with the opportunity to continue his career, his family for their support, all of his high school and AAU coaches for helping get him to where he is today, and the coaches who recruited him and offered him the opportunity to play at their schools.

Wolfe finished his EHS career with more than 2,000 points, passing Mitch Arnold for the all-time boys scoring record. He was named to numerous all-state teams.

Wolfe set the all-time basketball scoring record after setting almost every football passing record in the books as the Hearts' quarterback.

A formal signing ceremony will be scheduled soon.
