3 charred to death in a road accident in Agartala, 4 injured

Agartala, Dec 23 (UNI) Three youths were charred to death and four others injured in a midnight road accident on Agartala-Sabroom highway at Amtali area near Tripura University.
The accident happened when a CNG driven passenger auto-rickshaw collided with a Maruti Alto. According to reports, as soon as the two vehicles collided, the CNG cylinder in the auto-rickshaw exploded and the vehicle was immediately engulfed in fire. Within a few seconds, fire spread to the car, causing its CNG cylinder to burst. A huge fire instantly devoured the two vehicles in the midst of national highway.
Unaware of the fire, a speeding bike crashed into the burning vehicles and was caught in the blaze immediately. A pedestrian was also injured in the accident.
