5 arrested for gang rape in Bundu of Ranchi

Ranchi, Jan 31 (UNI) Police has arrested five youth who were involved in a gang rape which had took place at Ahir Tola under Bundu Police Station area of this district on January 29.
Bundu DSP Ashok Ravidas today said that the victim had come with her friend for sightseeing in Bundu. During the evening on that day the girl was standing outside a lodge waiting for her friend when she was forcibly taken by five youths to Ahir Tola where she was raped.
Later, the victim registered a complaint at Bundu Police Station in this regard. Post her complaint, police swung into action and conducted raids and arrested all the accused, the DSP said adding that all the arrested have confessed to their crime.
