All essential services restored in snow-bound Shimla: DC

Shimla, Dec 12 (UNI) All essential services have been restored with majority of the roads open for traffic in this snow-bound district.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Shimla Amit Kashyap, due to snowfall across the district in the morning, he personally monitored essential services on an hourly basis. All the major roads within Shimla urban area, including all the ambulance roads, are through.
All Sub Divisional Magistrates have been asked to get regular updates on restoration of roads, electricity, water supply and essential services from the concerned, to avoid inconvenience to people.
