CM to dedicate Shimla's new 14-floor parking lot to people

Shimla, Nov 28 (UNI) Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will dedicate to the people, a new 14-floor parking lot, built up near the Tutikandi bypass road in this state capital to de-congest traffic, on Thursday.
The district administration is mulling to ban tourist vehicles inside the town during the coming peak season, starting from December 24.
According to sources, the system would facilitate both the general public, as well as visitors, who pay heavy parking fee for their vehicles. The project, which is worth Rs 88 crore and can accommodate around 5000 vehicles, has been funded by the Asian Development Bank.
