Guest lecture on Mahatma Gandhi held at Pondicherry University

Puducherry, Feb 1 (UNI) A guest lecture on “The Relevance of Gandhi in 21st Century” was held here on Friday at the Pondicherry University. It has been organised by Research and Information System (RIS) for developing countries, New Delhi and UNESCO Madanjeeth Singh Institute of South Asia Regional cooperation for South Asian Studies (UMISARC) at UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute of South Asia Regional Cooperation (UMISARC) and Centre for South Asian Studies, Pondicherry University.

According to a University release,Prof.Gurmeet singh ,University Vice-chancellor ,speaking on the occasion shed light on contemporary incidents and on the need for going back to Gandhi in 21st century especially when the modern science and technology have advanced for a greater goal of humanity and how do they rule us back now.
