Mumbai, Jul 10 (UNI) The Himachal Futuristic Communications said that it has received a Purchase Order (PO) worth around Rs 186.90 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), New Delhi, vide its Purchase Order, dated July 8, 2019.
The Purchase order is for setting up of the Optical Transmission Backbone Network for Armed forces, under the Network for Spectrum Programme (NFS) of the Government of India.
This Project is funded by the Department of Telecom, Government of India (DOT) and BSNL has been appointed as the nodal agency by the DoT for Project execution.
As the Project has been funded by the DOT, the Government of India, the timely realisation against the said order, is secured.
The order is for Procurement, Installation, Testing and Maintenance of WSSROADM-based Multi-Channel DWDM Systems, POTS Equipment based on Multi-Service Provisioning Platform, Clock Synchronisation and
associated equipment for the Optical Transmission Backbone Network on Turnkey Basis for Armed Forces.
The Project shall be completed within 10 (Ten) months from the date of issue of Purchase Order, which means July 8, 2019.
