Himachal medicos support West Bengal striking doctors

Kangra, Jun 15 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Medical Officers Association extending moral support to the striking doctors of West Bengal on Saturday strongly condemned the attack on the residents doctors by anti-social elements in West Bengal and demanded action under law against the miscreants and adequate security round the clock, where 24 hours emergency services are run.
HMOA spokesman Dr Sushil Sharma told UNI here that the Association strongly condemns the brutal and deadly attack on Resident Doctors of West Bengal by anti-social elements and wants the state government to arrest these goons and give them strict punishment as per the law. The Association further demands that doctors be given adequate security round the clock, where 24 hours emergency services is carried by the doctors.
Dr Sharma said the HMOA demands that law regarding safety of doctors and paramedical staff be made more stringent. It further stressed on Himachal Pradesh Government to take effective steps and provide security in government hospitals where 24 hours services are being maintained, so that no untoward incident takes place.
