Nagaland ENPO reiterates demand for Frontier Nagaland

Nagaland ENPO reiterates demand for Frontier Nagaland

Kohima, Aug 17 (UNI) The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) has reiterate their demand for Frontier Nagaland to the officials of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi yesterday.
Delivering a speech during the Civic reception of new Nagaland Governor R N Ravi at NBCC convention hall in Kohima yesterday, by way of clarification ENPO President Kekongchim Yimchungru said that the demand for Frontier Nagaland is purely based on “our domestic problems and historical rights with no ill intention to any particular community or group.” He also requested the non- ENPO tribes to think what would be their reaction if they were in the ENPO position.
"The ENPO word is so dear to us that we had put forward our demand as 'frontier Nagaland' which clearly signifies that we are still Naga in spite of our demand,” the ENPO president said, adding “what a blessing it would be if we had two Nagaland.”
