PM Modi to address rallies in Indore, Kamal Nath's bastion Chhindwara

Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 18 (UNI) Having kick started his electioneering in Madhya Pradesh on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wil on Sunday address election rallies in Chhindwara and Indore seeking votes for BJP nominees in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh - where the ruling dispensation is facing a stiff anti-incumbency mood.
Posters and banners have been placed in the cities welcoming Prime Minister by the BJP.
On Friday, November 16, Mr Modi addressed election rallies in Gwalior, in the supposed Scindia 'fiefdom', and also at Shahdol, a prominent hub of tribals.
Chhindwara is a known bastion of former Union Minister and Congress heavyweight Kamal Nath while Indore though a strong BJP stronghold promises exciting contest this time.
According to party sources, Mr Modi will also address rallies in Rewa, Jhabua, Mandsaur and Chhatarpur in next few days.
On November 25, one day before the campaign ends, Prime Minister will address rallies in politically crucial Vidisha and Jabalpur.
Meanwhile, in neighbouring Chhattisgarh, campaigning for the second and final phase of Assembly elections will end on Sunday evening. Polling will be held in 72 constituencies spread across 19 districts on Tuesday. In the first phase on November 12, polling took place in 18 assembly segments.
Leaders of many political parties have been campaigning to woo the voters in one-time Naxal hit Chhattisgarh.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address an election rally at Bemcha Bhata ground at Mahasamund on Sunday.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi and BJP chief Amit Shah have been addressing public meetings in the state.
