Silvassa, Sep 3 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the Akshaya Patra Foundation’s mid-day meal feeding programme in Silvassa, the capital of the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
This centralised kitchen will enable Akshaya Patra to serve hot, safe, and nutritious meals to 57,000 children in 347 Government and Government-aided schools in the union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Mr Shah appreciated Akshaya Patra for providing nutritious mid-day meals to millions of children.
