Strong winds likely over parts of Arabian Sea & west-south coasts; fishermen advised to stay away

Pune, Aug 10 (UNI) Strong winds with speed reaching up to 45-55 kmph are likely to prevail over southwest, central and northeast Arabian Sea,along & off Kerala, south Tamil Nadu,Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat coasts, Lakshadweep area, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during next 24 hours.
Heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places in Saurashtra and Kutch,Gujarat region, Tamil Nadu ghat areas, Kerala ,Mahe,coastal Karnataka,south Rajasthan, madhya Maharashtra,north and south interior Karnataka,Konkan and Goa, Lakshadweep, west Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram,Tripura,and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
