Agartala, Mar 22 (UNI) The BJP Tripura state committee president and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today asserted that the saffron party will bring an exceptionally good result in the Northeast and West Bengal in the general election, which will increase the strength of NDA at the Centre.
Reacting on the candidate list of BJP in different states for ensuing general election Deb said the top leadership of the party held a series of threadbare discussion on the proposals of the respective state committees and consulted reports of various agencies regarding the choice of candidates.
“The selection of candidates for each of the constituencies is excellent and we are confident to win more seats than last elections. In Tripura BJP has fielded two dynamic fresher against the tested opponent of CPI (M) and Congress. So, there is no doubt of their winnablity, our effort is to maximize the winning margin,” Deb pointed out.
