Agartala, Aug 23 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today donated his one-month salary for the inmates of State Children Home for Girls run by social welfare department as token of his appreciation towards the gesture and behaviour shown to CM and his family members.
According to officials, CM along with his wife Niti Deb had gone to celebrate birthday of their daughter Shreya Deb on 1st August in the home and the gesture of the inmate made them happy and CM had announced to donate one-month salary for the welfare of children residing there.
A cheque of Rs 29,000 was handed over to the superintendents of two units of the Home.
