Workshop on “Seed Production, Quality Control & Marketing” begins in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jun 24 (UNI) The two-day workshop on “Seed Production, Quality Control & Marketing, organized by Department of Agriculture and Cooperation Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation, Government of Telangana, in collaboration with United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), Rome, Italy began at HICC, Novotal here on Monday.

The main objectives of the workshop was to encourage the Indian public sector seed corporations to export seeds to other countries, to promote the seed exports from Telangana to African and Southeast Asian countries , to connect the seed associations/industries of Southeast Asian and African regions with special focus on Telangana Seed Industry and to boost the seed production in Telangana thereby improving the farmers income.

AP: Over 18,000 employees to cast their votes through postal ballot in Kakinada district
