Strong winds likely over parts of Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal; fishermen advised to stay away

Pune, Aug 5 (UNI) During next 24 hours, strong winds with a speed reaching up to 40-50 kmph likely to prevail over Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal and fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
Strong winds likely to prevail in north, central and southwest Arabian Sea as well as central, southeast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal,Andaman sea,and along anf off Gujarat,Maharashtra,Goa,Kerala,Karnataka, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coasts along with Lakshadweep area.
Heavy to very heavy rainfalls very likely at isolated places in Gujarat Region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra,east Rajasthan, coastal as well as north and south interior Karnataka,Tamil Nadu, Puducherry,Karaikal,Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
