Baton Rouge General welcomes first baby born on Valentine’s Day 2019

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Eight hours into Valentine’s Day and a local hospital has had it’s first “lovebug” birth.
Born at 8:09 a.m., Mallary Savoie and Joshua Christian welcomed 7-pound 9-ounce Joslyn Diane Christian into the world at Baton Rouge General’s Birth Center.
Mother and baby are both doing well, according to the hospital.
