TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A woman is behind bars after allegedly attacking another woman in Tallahassee and stealing her car.

Police say 30-year-old Courtney Knight, of Tallahassee, hit another woman with a bag of rocks and choked her.

It all started at the Walmart on Tennessee Street in the early morning hours of September 17.

Police say Knight approached the victim and asked her for a ride, claiming she had just gotten into an argument with her boyfriend. The victim reluctantly agreed and when they arrived at the destination, the victim says Knight attacked her and stole her car.

Knight was arrested on Saturday and remains in the Leon County Detention Facility on charges of petit theft, armed carjacking and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

We have reached out to Walmart's corporate office for comment, a spokesperson says they are referring all questions on the incident to law enforcement.
