Plan to geek out this weekend at the Wilmington Geek Expo

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Unite with fellow comic book lovers at the Wilmington Geek Expo.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at the Wilmington Convention Center.

All ages are welcome.

Organizers said it is a great way to learn more about comic books and pop culture.

The event features celebrities, comic creators, authors and artists.

Can you tell me a little about the person we will be interviewing in relation to the event?

The event’s organizer, Mike Federali, hosts similar events in Virginia Beach and Savannah

“We took a tour of the Wilmington Convention Center and just fell in love with the area,” he said. “The comic shops and the college students have really helped us plant our feet.”
