WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Fans of Monty Python will enjoy a show that makes its Wilmington debut on stage this week.

The Explorers Club, written by Nell Benjamin, opens Wednesday, April 24, at Cape Fear Play House.

The play is set in 1870′s London, where a prestigious Explorers Club is in the midst of a crisis. Why? Because its acting president wants to admit a woman. Also, the bartender at the club is terrible.

The play is directed by Holli Saperstein and presented by Wilmington’s Big Dawg Productions

The show runs April 24-28, May 2-5 and 9-12 at Cape Fear Playhouse, 613 Castle Street, Wilmington.
