Gov. Phil Bryant signs Mississippi Broadband Enabling Act
This legislation could bring faster internet connections to more Mississippi homes and businesses in rural areas

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Governor Phil Bryant signed the Mississippi Broadband Enabling Act Wednesday morning.
House Bill 366, the Mississippi Broadband Enabling Act, gives electric power associations the option to construct broadband services for customers.

A group of statewide elected officials and others gathered on the second floor rotunda of the Mississippi State Capitol at 9:00 a.m. for the signing.
